Alikadam: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained a total of 33 Rohingyas from Alikadam in the district early today while they were entering Bangladesh illegally. Alikadam 57 BGB Naik Subedar Abdur Razzak stated that a patrol team conducted a raid on Amtali Asrayan Project Office in Sadar union and detained them, acting on a tip-off.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the detainees include 9 women, 10 men, and 14 children. BGB members confirmed that the individuals are citizens of Myanmar. The operation was executed with precision following intelligence about illegal crossings in the area.
