Baglung: Two people have died and five others were injured in a road accident that took place in Badigad Rural Municipality of Baglung. The accident occurred this evening when a passenger jeep (Lu. 3 Cha. 5569) traveling from Bhimgithe to Ward No. 10 of the same rural municipality met with an accident at a location known as Sarkipata.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the deceased have been identified as Khadak Bahadur Kuwar, 75, from Cholang, Nisikhola Rural Municipality-7, and Juna Kandel, 35, from Dhorpatan Municipality-5. This information was confirmed by Superintendent of Police Vijay Yadav of the District Police Office in Baglung.
Additionally, the injured include Tejkumari Budha, 63, and Nimsara Budha, 50, Thamkumari Poudel, 52, and Sita Poudel, 30, all residing in Badigad-9. One of the injured individuals has not yet been identified. Among those injured, Tejkumari Budha has been referred for further treatment, while the remainder are receiving medical care at Burtibang Hospital. The jeep was reportedly carrying twelve passengers at the time of the accident.
