Former President Bhandari’s Best Wishes on Mahashivaratri


Kathmandu: Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has expressed the belief that peace would be established only through self-discipline, mutual goodwill, and social tolerance. The former Head of State took to the social platform X to extend her best wishes on the occasion of the Mahashivaratri festival today. She stated that the festivals and celebrations that we observe will enhance the spirit of mutual unity and tolerance.



According to National News Agency Nepal, Bhandari emphasized the global celebration of Mahashivaratri by Hindus, including those in Nepal, who worship Lord Shiva. She expressed hope that the festival would inspire everyone to walk on the path of righteousness. Additionally, she acknowledged that today marks the foundation day of the Nepali Army, wishing them success in making a mark in the international arena by remaining committed to the security of the country and its people.
