New Delhi: Minister for Forest and Environment Ain Bahadur Shahi Thakuri met with his Brazilian counterpart, Marina Silva, in New Delhi, India. Minister Shahi is in the city to attend the World Sustainable Development Summit 2025.
According to National News Agency Nepal, during the meeting, Minister Shahi and Brazil’s Environment and Climate Change Minister Silva discussed various issues of mutual cooperation, focusing on climate change. The discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and exploring collaborative efforts in addressing global environmental challenges.
Furthermore, Minister Shahi extended an invitation to Minister Silva to participate in the Sagarmatha Sambaad scheduled to take place in Kathmandu from May 16 to 18. This invitation underscores the commitment to fostering international dialogue on sustainable development and climate action.
