Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has emphasized that advancing the country towards good governance and prosperity by bolstering the federal democratic republic is the government’s top priority. During his special address to the Koshi Province Assembly today, he highlighted that government efforts are focused on aligning with the constitution to strengthen the existing governance system.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Prime Minister expressed the necessity of freeing citizens from poverty and backwardness while also addressing the needs of the poor to propel the country forward. He mentioned that job creation, particularly through entrepreneurship exploration, is prioritized to achieve prosperity and ensure civic supremacy.
PM Oli called for cooperation among the three-tier government to aid the country’s development. He encouraged everyone to consider the country’s geographical, cultural, and caste diversities and contribute to fostering unity. He also underscored the importance of promoting Nepal’s identity as a nation with a glorious history, sovereignty, democracy, and prosperity on the global stage.
Before this address, the Prime Minister spoke at the 13th Convocation of Purbanchal University.
