Health Sector Reform Campaign to Persist, Declares CM Singh


Janakpurdham: Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, Satish Kumar Singh, has reaffirmed his commitment to the ongoing health sector reform campaign. During the foundation stone-laying ceremony for a new building for the Transport Management Office in Janakpurdham, CM Singh emphasized that his focus remains on instilling discipline in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) process.



According to National News Agency Nepal, CM Singh assured that the momentum for health sector reforms would be maintained. He expressed his satisfaction with the commencement of construction for a much-needed facility for the transport office, highlighting the significance of having a dedicated building for such a key public service department.



CM Singh further instructed the employees to facilitate services efficiently and curb any malpractices, ensuring a smooth experience for the public. In a related development, the Minister for Labour and Transport of the Province, Kaushal Kishor Raya, announced that the new building will feature an automatic trial center designed to eliminate the influence of middlemen in the transport sector.



Additionally, it was acknowledged that the land for the new construction was generously donated by Ram Naresh Das, a priest from Sitakunda, who contributed one bigha for the project.
