Nagdhunga: A passenger died and nine others were injured in a microbus accident in Chandragiri municipality-2, Nagdhunga this evening. Sabina Gurung, aged around 25-26, lost her life when the microbus (Ga 1 Kha 5546) traveling from Chitwan to Kathmandu collided with a roadside box. The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Gurung, who sustained serious injuries in the accident, succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at the Trauma Centre in Kathmandu. Superintendent of Police Apil Raj Bohara, the spokesperson for the District Police Range, Kathmandu, provided this information.
Nine people were injured in the accident, with some receiving treatment at the Trauma Centre and others at Annapurna Neuro Hospital, Maitighar. The microbus driver has been taken into police custody, as stated by the police.
