Kathmandu: The Nepal Police Club has entered the final of the Prime Minister Cup Men’s Cricket Competition by defeating Karnali Province: The Nepal Police Club secured their spot in the final of the Prime Minister Cup Men’s Cricket Competition, overpowering Karnali Province with a 44-run victory at Deukhuri Cricket Stadium.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Nepal Police Club clinched their position in the final even before playing their last league match. They set a target of 147 runs for Karnali Province, who managed to score only 103 runs, losing all their wickets in 24 overs. In the match, Rabindra Shahi was the top scorer for Karnali Province with 49 runs, while Arjun Gharti added 30 runs.
The Nepal Police Club has showcased an impressive performance throughout the tournament, winning all eight of their matches and accumulating 16 points, securing their dominance in the competition.
