Butwal: Traffic on the Butwal-Narayangadh road section of the East-West Highway has been obstructed. The highway has been blocked at Daunne since the road section is muddy and slippery due to rain, according to police.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Superintendent of Police Yadav Dhakal of Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East) District Police Office stated that the road has been obstructed due to rain at Daunne of Binayi Triveni Rural Municipality-2. The blockage has stranded hundreds of vehicles and passengers on the road.
Vehicular movement in the Daunne area was suspended from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm from Wednesday till Sunday for repair. Furthermore, preparations have been made to stop vehicular movement from 11:00 pm to 5:00 am from April 14 to 28.
