Muglin-Pokhara Road Expansion Sees Significant Progress with 53% Completion in Western Section

Muglin: Around 53 percent of construction works have been completed in the western section of the Muglin-Pokhara road expansion project. Over half of the designated works have been completed from Jamun (Tanahun) to the Seti Bridge (Pokhara, Kaski).

According to National News Agency Nepal, the Muglin-Pokhara road project (western section) reports that significant progress has been made, with blacktopping completed on both sides of a 24-kilometer stretch, while a 12.8-kilometer section has been blacktopped one way. The remaining three kilometers are yet to be blacktopped one way in the western section, with completion expected by mid-June.

Project chief Krishna Bahadur Kunwar stated that ten out of twelve bridges have been completed in the western section, and 92 out of 100 culverts have been constructed. A total of 424 electric poles need to be removed in the section, which has delayed the overall construction works.
