Kathmandu: The price of gold has been going up in the international market since June 10 and this has its effect in the domestic market as well.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the price of gold increased by Rs 900 and that of silver by Rs 65 per tola (11.66 grammes), compared to Tuesday, when the market opened for trading today. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association stated that the price of the yellow metal is Rs 195,500 and that of silver Rs 2,225 per tola today.
The international market has also reported a rise in gold prices. The price of gold is 3,393 US dollars per ounce in the international market today.
