Kathmandu: Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration, Bhagawati Neupane, has emphasized that in-service training is crucial not only for the promotion of government employees but also for ensuring better performance and results.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Minister highlighted the importance of training in building competence and enhancing effective public service delivery. Her remarks were made during the inauguration of an in-service training program designed for section officers who will be deployed in provincial and local governments. The training program is scheduled to last for a month.
The Minister noted that the training is aimed at improving both knowledge and skills, asserting that different services require specific training to excel in their respective fields. She also mentioned that accountability, transparency, and timeliness are vital components of the current bureaucratic framework.
