PM’s Direction to Engage in Game Changer Initiatives

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has directed the ministers and secretaries to initiate game changer projects. During a progress review and performance contract signing function at his office in Singha Durbar on Thursday, PM Oli urged the subordinates to contribute to increasing productivity and lifting the country out of the vicious cycle of poverty.

According to National News Agency Nepal, the PM drew the attention of ministers and secretaries to work toward the production of methane gas from Dailekh within the coming Mangsir, promote buffalo farming for export to China, launch organic farming, regulate social networking sites, construct senior citizens’ dialogue homes, conduct the 10th national games in time, intensify construction of the Kirtipur cricket stadium, and prepare for the construction of a mega stadium in Bhaktapur.

Other priorities shared by the Head of the Government include the use of Nepal’s own orbit in space, operating railways and a security printing press, and completing the Sunkoshi-Marin, Bheri-Babai diversions, and Kathmandu-Tarai expressway. He emphasized that employee transfers should be in line with standards.

“Let’s propose innovatively to set milestones,” PM Oli said, urging the ministers and secretaries to forward revolutionary works. On the occasion, he made secretaries sign performance contracts for this fiscal year, 2082/83, in line with the national ambition of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’.
