Foreign Minister Extends Greetings on India’s Independence Day


Kathmandu: Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Arzu Rana Deuba has extended best wishes to the Indian government and people on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day of India.



According to National News Agency Nepal, Dr Deuba mentioned her Indian counterpart, Dr S. Jaishankar, on social media, emphasizing Nepal’s appreciation for its longstanding and sustainable partnership with India. She expressed hopes for the continued prosperity, unity, and harmony of the Indian people, and wished for India to remain a shining example of democracy that inspires countries worldwide.



Dr Deuba’s message reflects the strong diplomatic ties between Nepal and India, underscoring the importance of their relationship in promoting regional stability and cooperation.
