Kathmandu: The Acting Chairperson of the Muslim Commission, Mahamdin Ali, has submitted the annual report of the Muslim Commission 2081/82 to President Ramchandra Paudel during a function held at the Office of the President.
According to National News Agency Nepal, during the occasion, President Paudel emphasized the importance of respecting the dignity of all citizens, highlighting Nepal’s identity as a multiethnic, multilingual, multi-religious, and multicultural nation. He stated, “We should move ahead on the basis of equality and coexistence while maintaining goodwill, solidarity, and social harmony by respecting the cultural diversities.”
President Paudel further mentioned that the responsibility and role of the Muslim Commission are significant and expressed confidence that the Commission will carry out its duties effectively in the future.
