Nepal-India Relations Highlighted by Deputy Prime Minister at Independence Day Event


Kathmandu: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh, has emphasized the special nature of Nepal-India relations, noting their multidimensional aspects spanning religious, cultural, and political spheres.



According to National News Agency Nepal, Singh made these remarks during a programme organised by the Embassy of India to celebrate India’s 79th Independence Day. He expressed optimism about the future of Nepal-India relations, anticipating further deepening and growth in the coming days.



Singh highlighted the unique connection between the two nations, citing open borders and shared cultural and civilizational similarities as the foundation of their special ties. He also underscored the potential for strengthening these relations through mutual coordination and collaboration.
