Chitwan: The Narayangadh-Muglin road section, which was opened for traffic after clearing a landslide earlier today, is again blocked following another landslide. The road section near Tuinkhola in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-5 of Chitwan was obstructed at around 9:30 am, as confirmed by police.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the road had been cleared for traffic from 8:00 am after removing earlier obstructions caused by the initial landslide. However, the same location was affected again, leading to the current blockage.
Rabindra Khanal, the Information Officer of the District Police Office, Chitwan, stated that the road section was blocked once more after the landslide occurred at the same place. DSP Khanal indicated that efforts are ongoing to remove the landslide debris. Meanwhile, vehicles and their passengers remain stranded at the location.
