Gorkha: Two individuals have lost their lives after falling from a cliff in a remote village in North Gorkha. Rinjin Lama, 43, of Dhumche, Chumnubri Rural Municipality-6, and Hisedorje Lama of Sipchet succumbed to fatal injuries after falling from the same cliff.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the tragic incident occurred at a location known as Dhadangkok, where both individuals fell approximately 100 meters below. A relative of the deceased, Nurbu Dorje, reported that Rinjin Lama went missing while returning from a meeting. His body was discovered by villagers the following morning.
Hisedorje Lama found Rinjin’s body but tragically fell from the same location around 9 am while attempting to transport Rinjin’s body towards the river. The local police have arrived at the scene and commenced an investigation, confirmed Superintendent of Police Bharat Bahadur BK from the District Police Office.
