Chair Khatiwada Vows Fair Hearing


Kathmandu: Chairman of the Parliamentary Hearing Committee, Ramhari Khatiwada, has pledged to run the hearing sessions of the committee fairly. Talking to the Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS) after taking oath of office and secrecy as the Chairman of the joint committee of the federal parliaments today, he said if any wrong recommendation was made to the committee for hearing, it would not entertain.



According to National News Agency Nepal, Khatiwada further stated his belief in a transparent and fair process and expressed his commitment to carrying out his responsibility effectively. Khatiwada also highlighted his impartial conduct during his tenure as the Chair of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee. He noted that he had stepped down from that position on moral grounds while others were implicated in dishonest schemes.
