Kathmandu: Twenty-seven individuals have been arrested for their involvement in violent activities, which included looting, arson, and destruction of lives and property, exploiting the recent adverse situation.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Nepali Army apprehended these individuals between 10:00 pm Tuesday and 10:00 am today. Security forces seized Rs 3.37 million from various individuals involved in robberies in the Gaushala-Chabahil and Bouddha areas.
Additionally, various types of weapons were confiscated in Kathmandu and Pokhara. The Directorate of the Public Relations and Information of the Nepali Army reported that actions are being taken to extinguish fires set by demonstrators on public and private properties.
