Protecting Public Property Is Also Our Responsibility: Chair Lamichhane

Kathmandu: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane emphasized the collective responsibility to safeguard public properties, highlighting that damage to government assets equates to a loss for the state.

According to National News Agency Nepal, Lamichhane issued a press statement urging everyone to exercise maximum restraint in protecting the nation’s assets. He underscored the significance of preserving documents related to national security, including those from the police, security agencies, and judiciary, as they are crucial national assets. He warned that failure to protect these could lead to the destruction of sensitive national documents, posing severe consequences for the country.

Lamichhane, who is also a former Deputy Prime Minister, clarified that the ongoing movement is driven by Generation Z, the future leaders of the country. He stressed that leadership must evolve in line with the aspirations and vision of Gen Z.

In his statement, Lamichhane paid heartfelt tributes to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the movement and extended wishes for the speedy recovery of those injured.
