Kathmandu: Chairperson of CPN (Maoist Centre) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ emphasized the importance of finding a political solution within the constitutional framework to address the current political transition. He highlighted that resolving the constitutional and parliamentary vacuum could prevent regression.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Dahal, in a press statement, articulated that the agenda of Generation Z seeks to enrich democracy rather than maintain the status quo. He asserted that a more robust democracy serves as an alternative to the existing democratic framework.
Dahal accused regressive forces of infiltrating Generation Z demonstrations, engaging in vandalism and arson. He criticized these attempts to undermine the achievements secured through sacrifices. He called for unity among peace-loving, constitutional, and republican forces to oppose those exploiting the transition for undue benefits.
Furthermore, Dahal paid tribute to the youths who lost their lives during the Generation Z demonstrations. He extended condolences to the bereaved families and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
