Three Held with Cash and Valuables in Kathmandu


Kathmandu: The Nepal Police has nabbed three people with jewelries from the Ratopul area in Kathmandu. The District Police Range Kathmandu shared that the three were held for their alleged involvement in the looting of jewelries and properties from a house in Ratopul during the Gen-Z protest on September 9. It is said that the three people were arrested for carrying out suspicious activities during the investigations initiated by the police.



According to National News Agency Nepal, the arrestees include Sujan Rai, 27, of Khotang district, Nayun Shrestha, 19, of Sindhupalchowk district, and Agam Praja, 18, of Makawanpur district. Spokesperson of District Police Range Kathmandu Apilraj Bohara shared that the three were held along with Rs 13,000 in cash, jewelries, and cloths.
