Kathmandu: The Nepali Congress (NC) has expressed sorrow over the demise of Govinda Bahadur Malla, the party’s former president of the Surkhet district committee.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Party Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel, in a condolence message, shared sorrow over the passing of Malla, who also served as the District Development Committee president. Malla was 78.
The NC acknowledged that Malla, who held various positions within the party, contributed to the organization and played a role in Nepal’s democratic movement. The party sees his demise as the loss of a senior leader. The President of the Nepali Congress, Sher Bahadur Deuba, expressed condolences to Malla’s family, wishing for peace to his soul.
