Bhaktapur: The CPN (UML) Secretariat meeting has resolved to organize the party’s 11th General Convention in mid-December. The decision emerged from a meeting conducted at the residence of UML Chair KP Sharma Oli in Gundu, Bhaktapur, as articulated by Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the precise date and venue for the General Convention will be determined by the party’s Central Committee during a meeting scheduled from October 15 to 17. Gyawali noted that the challenging circumstances in the country have necessitated the advancement of the General Convention by a year.
Additionally, the meeting expressed a demand for the reinstatement of the House of Representatives, reflecting the party’s stance on current political issues.
