Namkha: Thukten Palwar Lama, a resident of Namkha Rural Municipality-3, Khagalgaun, has been missing for over a month. His disappearance occurred in the aftermath of the Gen Z movement held in Kathmandu on September 8-9, and his family has not been able to establish contact with him since then.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Thukten, aged 24, had been residing in Tinchuli, Kathmandu, with his nephew for the past year following his completion of Lama Studies at Narayanthan Monastery. His father, Taichhiring Lama, reported that Thukten returned safely to his residence after participating in the events of September 8. However, he left the room on September 9 and has not been seen or heard from since.
Taichhiring Lama has made a public appeal for assistance in locating his son, emphasizing the urgency of the situation. He has notified both the District Police Office in Humla and the Kathmandu Police regarding Thukten’s disappearance, hoping for any information that could lead to his whereabouts.
