Supreme Court Bar Association Pledges Support for Fair Election


Kathmandu: The Supreme Court Bar Association has expressed its commitment to assist the government’s campaign to ensure that the House of Representatives elections scheduled for March 5, 2026, are free, fair, and impartial. In a meeting with Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal today, officials of the Supreme Court Bar Association, including acting president Ambar Raut, emphasized the need for peace, order, and good governance for the general public in the country.



According to National News Agency Nepal, the Association’s delegation also highlighted the importance of addressing the demands raised by Gen Z, specifically focusing on controlling corruption and upholding the rule of law. The meeting underscored the role of the legal community in promoting transparency and accountability in the electoral process, ensuring that the upcoming elections reflect the true will of the people.
