PM Karki Holds Strategic Meeting with Security Chiefs


Kathmandu: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has convened a high-level meeting with the chiefs of the nation’s security agencies to discuss the current security climate and necessary measures moving forward.



According to National News Agency Nepal, the meeting was attended by PM Karki, Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, Secretary at the Home Ministry Rameshwor Dangal, and the chiefs of all four security bodies. The security chiefs provided briefings to the Prime Minister, detailing the current security situation and potential threats.



Home Minister Aryal addressed the media following the meeting, noting that they conducted a thorough analysis of the present security scenario. He mentioned that the government had received information regarding potential demonstrations by various groups. Aryal emphasized that while any group is entitled to present their political demands, it is crucial to do so responsibly.



The government remains open to dialogue to resolve political issues and is prepared to engage in talks with all concerned parties, the Minister added.
