Kathmandu: Nepali Congress leader and former minister Mohammad Aftab Alam is being treated in the hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU) after a serious problem was seen in his health. The former minister is being treated in the ICU of Kathmandu Medical College Teaching Hospital in Sinamangal after an infection was detected in his kidneys. He had been on kidney dialysis for a long time.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Alam, who previously represented Rautahat in the House of Representatives, had served for some time as the Minister of Forests and Environment as well as the Minister of Labour and Employment.
