ODI World Cup Qualifiers: Nepal Post a Total of 271 Runs Against USA


Kathmandu: Nepal has posted a total of 271 runs before the USA in the match held today under the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2. In the match underway in Dubai, UAE, Nepal scored 271 runs in 49.5 overs at the loss of all wickets.



According to National News Agency Nepal, Dipendra Singh Airee top-scored for Nepal with 75 runs in 67 balls, followed by Karan KC who scored 49 runs in 31 balls. Opener Kushal Bhurtel contributed 47 runs in 65 balls, Bhim Sharki added 43 in 58 balls, while captain Rohit Paudel made 36 runs in 46 balls.



For the USA, Harmeet Singh took 3 wickets, while Saurabh Netravalkar and Nosthush Kenjige claimed 2 wickets each. In reply, the USA has managed to score 53 runs without losing a wicket in the first 10 overs.



Prior to this match, Nepal had already faced a defeat against the USA, losing by 106 runs on October 25. The USA currently leads the points table with 32 points from 22 matches, whereas Nepal is in the 7th position with 12 points in 18 matches.
