Kathmandu: The meeting between Prime Minister Sushila Karki and the Chief Ministers of all seven provinces has commenced at the official residence of the Prime Minister in Baluwatar.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the meeting includes the participation of Chief Minister of Koshi Province Hikmat Bahadur Karki, Chief Minister of Madhesh Province Jitendra Bahadur Sonar, Chief Minister of Bagmati Province Indra Bahadur Baniya, Chief Minister of Gandaki Province Surendra Raj Pandey, Chief Minister of Lumbini Province Chet Narayan Acharya, Chief Minister of Karnali Province Yamlal Kandel, and Chief Minister of Sudurpaschim Province Kamal Bahadur Shah.
PM Karki’s Press Coordinator, Ram Bahadur Rawal, stated that the Prime Minister called for this meeting to initiate a dialogue between the federal and provincial governments amidst the evolving political landscape and to enhance intergovernmental relations.
