Kailali: As many as 156 new industries have been registered in the district in three months. The Office of Cottage and Small Industry in the district recorded 156 new industries in the first three months of the current fiscal year.
According to National News Agency Nepal, among the newly registered industries, 32 are related to production, 50 are related to agriculture, and 74 are service-oriented. The Office further noted that the district now has a total of 16,026 cottage and small industries.
In addition to the new industries, 200 firms focusing on local trade and commerce have been registered in the same period.
Meanwhile, the Office reported a collection of Rs 3.9 million in revenue over the last three months. This is a significant decrease compared to the same period last fiscal year, where Rs 16 million was collected in revenue.
