Bardiya: The Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) has launched an Inclusive Rural Development Project in Bardiya in collaboration with the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration. The five-year project, valued at USD 8 million, commenced with the first meeting of the project’s steering committee held on Wednesday.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the meeting was chaired by Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, Nita Pokharel Aryal, and co-chaired by KOICA Country Director Mooheon Kong. The session saw the participation of mayors from Barbardiya, Bansgadhi, Badhaiyatal, Geruwa, Gulariya, Madhuban, Rajapur, and Thakur Baba in Bardiya. Additionally, representatives from Bardiya National Park and members of the management consulting team from the Korean Institute for Development Strategy were present.
