Doha: President Ramchandra Paudel left for home today from Doha, the capital of Qatar. He had traveled to Qatar to participate in the Second World Summit for Social Development, which began on Tuesday.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Nepal’s Ambassador to Qatar, Rameshchandra Paudel, along with senior officials from Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Nepali Embassy in Qatar, saw the President off at Hamad International Airport.
President Paudel arrived in Doha on Monday, leading a Nepali delegation at the invitation of Qatar’s Amir, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani. During his visit, President Paudel held a courtesy meeting with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Tuesday. He also took the opportunity to visit the Qatar National Museum on Wednesday.
