Gulmi: Air service will now be provided four days a week at Resunga airport starting today. Chief of Nepal Airlines Corporation Resunga Station, Suman Thapa, announced that the flights have resumed regularly for four days from today.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Nepal Airlines had been operating flights to Resunga airport only once a week on Thursdays for the past five months after the NA twin otter aircraft became dysfunctional. Chief Thapa shared that the repair and maintenance of the aircraft have been completed, allowing for operations four days a week-Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. The 19-seat twin otter plane is scheduled to fly from Kathmandu to Resunga at 6:30 am and from Resunga to Kathmandu at 7:30 am.
The NAC has set the fare at Rs 7,500 per person for travel from Kathmandu to Gulmi and Rs 7,300 for the return trip from Gulmi to Kathmandu. Due to high air pressure at Resunga airport during the afternoons, flights will be operated only in the mornings.
