Kathmandu: Secretariat member of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and former lawmaker Santosh Pariyar has officially resigned from the party. Pariyar, who previously held the position of chief whip for RSP in the now-dissolved House of Representatives, submitted his resignation to the party’s Acting Chairperson, Dol Prasad Aryal.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Pariyar expressed his intention to pursue a different political path aimed at integrating Nepali politics with national welfare and the lives of the people. In his resignation letter, he stated, “I will not remain in any responsibility of RSP from today as I have to be active in a different political campaign to connect Nepali politics with nation’s welfare and people’s life in this historical moment by adopting the changing context as well as will not remain even ordinary member of the party.”
RSP Spokesperson Manish Jha confirmed Pariyar’s departure and extended his best wishes for Pariyar’s future political endeavors.
