Kathmandu: Ministry of Health and Population has directed all of its employees to abide by the code of conduct. Issuing a notice on Sunday, Information Officer at the Ministry, Dr Bhakta Bahadur KC, asked the Ministry employees to carry out assigned duties responsibly and abide by the code.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Ministry has reminded its employees of Sections 52-68 of the Health Service Act, 2053. This directive applies to employees working across various departments, institutes, hospitals, health facilities, and offices.
The code of conduct explicitly instructs employees under the Health Ministry not to engage in political activities or criticize government actions. The Ministry emphasizes the importance of professional integrity for all its employees.
