Kathmandu: Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal on Saturday visited police stations in Bouddha and Sankhu in the Kathmandu Valley that were damaged during the Gen-Z protest on September 9. Home Minister Aryal inspected the police offices and took stock of the police personnel’s activities as well as the law and order situation in the sites.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Home Minister Aryal directed the Nepal Police to work with high morale to ensure law and order in the country and to control crimes. He emphasized the importance of the police force in maintaining a peaceful environment and urged them to continue their efforts.
Home Minister Aryal also acknowledged the massive support from citizens in the reconstruction of the damaged properties and encouraged the Nepal Police to promote good governance. Additional Inspector General of Nepal Police Ishwar Karki and Chief of District Police Range Kathmandu and SSP Ramesh Thapa accompanied the Home Minister during the inspection visit.
