Kathmandu: Charge d’ Affaires of Thailand to Nepal, Manusavee Monsakul, has expressed Thailand’s commitment to provide assistance to Nepal’s development efforts to the best of its ability.
According to National News Agency Nepal, at a programme held on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, Charge d’ Affaires Monsakul highlighted the strong people-to-people connections between the two countries, reinforced by their shared Buddhist heritage. Monsakul emphasized Thailand’s dedication to supporting Nepal, particularly in its agricultural sector, where Thai assistance has already made a significant impact. Recently, Thai initiatives have facilitated training for Nepali farmers in organic farming techniques, demonstrating a practical commitment to agricultural development.
The event was attended by a diverse group of participants, including Krishna Prasad Dhakal, the Officiating Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as heads and officials of diplomatic missions, Thai citizens working in Nepal, entrepreneurs, businessmen, and senior journalists.
