Janakpurdham: Coordinator of Nepali Communist Party and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has stated that the recent Gen-Z protest has emerged as a result of the lack of fundamental changes in the lives of citizens despite the establishment of the republican system.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Prachanda made these remarks while addressing the Madhes Province-level unity gathering of the Nepali Communist Party in Janakpurdham. He acknowledged that the Gen-Z protest provides an opportunity for political parties with legacy to reflect and reassess their approaches.
During the event, Prachanda emphasized that the polarization among various left political parties has been initiated to foster the country’s development in a novel manner, adapting to the post Gen-Z movement landscape. He asserted that unity among all people is essential to counteract regression and reactionary forces, with the Nepali Communist Party poised to lead this effort.
Further addressing the gathering, Nepali Communist Party’s Joint Coordinator and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal asserted that the unification of different communist parties into a single entity has generated a positive atmosphere across the nation.
