Kathmandu: The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has officially submitted its Annual Report for the year 2024/25 to President Ramchandra Paudel. The presentation took place during a formal event at the Office of the President, Shital Niwas.
According to National News Agency Nepal, NHRC Chairman Tap Bahadur Magar personally handed over the report to the President. This submission is in compliance with Article 294 of the Constitution of Nepal, which mandates the Commission to present an annual report to the Head of State. The Office of the President confirmed the adherence to this constitutional requirement following the presentation.
