Kathmandu: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported that the westerly wind is currently having a partial influence on the weather across the country. This phenomenon has resulted in partly cloudy conditions prevailing across all provinces.
According to National News Agency Nepal, fog has been observed in some areas of the Tarai region, particularly in Koshi, Madhes, and Sudurpaschim provinces. Meanwhile, haze is affecting other parts of the Tarai and certain areas of the Kathmandu Valley. As the day progresses, most regions are expected to remain partly cloudy.
Looking ahead to tonight, the weather will continue to be partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim, as well as Gandaki Province. However, the remaining parts of the Terai region are anticipated to have clear weather conditions. Additionally, there is a chance of light rain and snowfall occurring in isolated spots within the mountainous areas of Gandaki Province.
