Kathmandu: Former President of the Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) and senior tourism entrepreneur JB Singh passed away this morning.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Singh had served as the President of TAAN for four tenures from 1981 to 1996. He made significant contributions to the development, promotion, and management of Nepal’s trekking and mountain tourism.
The final rites of Singh will be performed at Pashupati Aryaghat today, according to a family source.
