Kathmandu: The government has appointed Dr Prakash Kumar Shrestha as the Vice-Chair of the National Planning Commission and Prof Dr Suniti Shrestha Hada as a member.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the decision was taken during a meeting of the Council of Ministers. Government spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Jagadish Kharel, announced the appointments.
Kharel also stated that the cabinet has resolved to discontinue the use of postal stamps as revenue stamps for document authenticity in service delivery. This change will apply except in cases where current law requires their use.
