Kathmandu: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the appointment of India’s Harshal Pathak as the head coach of the Nepal National Women’s Cricket Team. Pathak, who once showcased his talent as an all-rounder for Thailand, will now lead the Nepalese team as they gear up for a significant international tournament.
According to National News Agency Nepal, CAN confirmed Pathak’s selection through a press statement. The process involved an open application that welcomed foreign coaches to apply for the prestigious role. Pathak’s appointment signifies a strategic move by CAN as Nepal prepares to host the ICC Women’s World Cup Global Qualifier.
