Kathmandu: Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Chen Song, paid a farewell call on Prime Minister Sushila Karki in Singha Durbar on Wednesday. Ambassador Song is returning home after completing his term. During the meeting, matters related to various dimensions of Nepal-China relations and bilateral interests were discussed.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Chinese Ambassador mentioned that China has been providing support to every aspect of Nepal’s development endeavors as a close friend and assured that such support would continue in the future.
Prime Minister Karki congratulated Ambassador Song on completing his term successfully and wished him a pleasant journey home. She emphasized Nepal’s commitment to the One-China Policy and assured that Nepal would not allow anyone to use its territory against China. The Prime Minister expressed hope that Nepal would continue to receive support, assistance, and cooperation from China in its development efforts.
