Kathmandu: To mark the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and China, a Chinese language training has been imparted to Nepal’s tourism entrepreneurs. A total of 47 entrepreneurs who completed the six-month language training programme were awarded certificates amid a ceremony last Friday.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the Nepal Tourism Board organized the training course in association with the Chinese Embassy in Nepal. On the occasion, Ram Krishna Lamichhane, Director General of the NTB, stated that the training would enable Nepali entrepreneurs to easily communicate with Chinese tourists and better promote their services. He expressed confidence that the proficiency in Chinese among Nepali tourism entrepreneurs would contribute positively to the country’s tourism industry.
During the closing ceremony of the training, Zhou Pan, Minister Counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Nepal, highlighted various dimensions of China-Nepal relations. He emphasized that the training would aid in further strengthening cultural ties between the two countries.
