Gandaki province: Chief Minister of Gandaki Province Surendraraj Pandey has promised to end delays in fund release to contractors after project completion. After an onsite visit of road projects implemented by the province government in Myagdi, the Chief Minister said that the province government was ready to release the payment in time after the completion of the projects.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the province government is sensitive to the responsibility for payment for the completed projects. Pandey stated that construction companies completing the projects on time will be encouraged by timely payment, and added that delays in projects due to budget constraints will be resolved.
The Chief Minister inspected the construction work of Dharapani-Takam-Shiwang, Beni-Darbang, Dangkhola bridge, and Beni-Pakhapani road projects. On the occasion, Pandey appreciated the construction companies, local stakeholders, and all others engaged in the projects for the satisfactory results.
