Columbus: Arya Khanal, 13, and Khusi Adhikari, 13, residing in Columbus, USA, have emerged as winners in a singing and dancing competition held among Nepali talents from seven different cities across the USA.
According to National News Agency Nepal, the competition saw participation from children of Nepali origin living in cities including Columbus, Akron, Cincinnati, Harrisburg, Lancaster, Pittsburgh, and Scranton. Organized by the Intra National Welfare and Support Foundation of America, the event spanned two days starting December 20.
In the singing category, Digant Gurung from Cincinnati was declared the first runner-up, while Kunjan Subedi from Columbus secured the second runner-up position, as stated in a press release issued by the Foundation.
In the dancing category, Ayusha Chapagain from Lancaster and Samantha Chhetri from Harrisburg claimed the second and third positions, respectively.
Foundation President Dilli Adhikari emphasized that the Foundation has been dedicated to organizing programs for the past decade aimed at engaging children of Nepali origin in the USA with Nepali art and culture.
