Lahan: Minister for Finance Rameshore Khanal has announced that the House of Representatives (HoR) elections, scheduled for March 5, will take place as planned. At a land transfer and felicitation event for the Ramkumar Sharada Uma Prasad Murarka Provincial Hospital, Minister Khanal emphasized the government’s commitment to conducting the elections on time.
According to National News Agency Nepal, Khanal assured the public of the government’s preparations for the elections and urged citizens to disregard any rumors or misinformation. He highlighted that the current government, established after the Gen Z uprising, prioritizes the smooth execution of the election process.
Khanal voiced optimism that the nation’s economy would recover gradually following the elections. Furthermore, he announced the completion of the hospital’s land registration, which had been delayed for 47 years.
The government, formed post-Gen Z movement, has fulfilled the aspirations of the donor Murarka and Sharada families by waiving a gain tax of Rs 12.4 million, Khanal stated.
The event also saw the presence of Minister for Youth and Sports Bablu Gupta, Chief Minister of Madhesh Province Krishna Prasad Yadav, donor family representatives, industrialists, business figures, and hospital management officials.
